Irish jazz royalty will return to Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, Headford, Co Galway for an intimate gig at 8pm on Sunday, November 10.
Ireland’s most renowned jazz guitarist Louis Stewart will be joined by vocalist Honor Heffernan and pianist Jim Doherty for what promises to be one of the highlights in the north Galway venue’s popular weekly ‘Jazz At The Tav’ series.
Waterford man Stewart’s first visit to Cloughanover back in July was a sellout, and the upcoming gig is sure to prove popular too. He has played all over the world with world-famous musicians including Benny Goodman and George Shearing. Honor Heffernan’s career as a singer and actress spans over 30 years and takes in blues, stage musicals and jazz as well as film, TV and theatre. Jim Doherty has had a long career in radio, TV, composing, arranging, producing and playing jazz piano.
