What are the chances? When one tourist was exploring Mayo hotspot, Keem Bay on a day trip, he suddenly noticed his wallet was gone. When noticed straight away, Mohammad Yasir called the local Garda station to report it.
Just two days later, when returned to Galway, he called into the public office at Gaillimhe Garda Station to get forms stamped for replacement IDs and driving licence. However when Garda Aoife Culkin was on duty, a moment of rare occurrence took place.

Olwyn Whelan who happens to be waiting in the public office overheard the conversation somewhat and then a lightbulb moment went off. Olwyn said “excuse me, I think I have your wallet”.
It turns out Olwyn was actually on a day trip to Keem beach also on the same day Mohammad was there. Remarkably, Olwyn found the wallet and went to the station to hand it in. Two days later, Mohammad and Olwyn met each other outside the station after the wallet was returned to its owner, all were happy. It really is a small word and it's great to see an act of generosity and honesty take place.
