There was bad news for two clubs when the Mayo League released its league format for 2024, last night. Moy Villa and Hollister have been excluded for the new season. The Mayo
News understands that the difficulties for the clubs were related to the FAI Club Mark, which is a pre-requisite for Mayo clubs.
On the positive side, the League structure sees the return of Snugboro and Bangor Hibs, while Ballina Town have had a B team accepted. Ballyvary Blue Bombers have a B team, too, while Westport United have added a C team.
