CBE, the retail and hospitality software company, have today announced the creation of 25 new jobs in Mayo. Minister of State Dara Calleary officially announced the jobs at CBE’s international head office in Claremorris where the new jobs will be based.

CBE develop and supply electronic point of sale (EPoS) solutions for the retail and hospitality sectors. CBE’s global expansion continues as they now support installations in broader regions including mainland Europe, the Nordics, Canada, Australia, the Middle East and Africa. Following significant market research with the support of Enterprise Ireland, the company is preparing to build on its presence in the UK and expand into new markets within the Eurozone.

CBE is an Irish company that has experienced impressive growth, developing and supplying EPoS solutions on a global scale and the announcement today of 25 new jobs based here in Claremorris shows that Ireland is to the forefront of development and innovation in the digital software solutions space. As part of the current expansion, Enterprise Ireland is supporting the recruitment of the new positions in the company and is working with the company on a joint R&D project to integrate a number of software solutions to enhance the company’s product offering.

Retail is a fast-moving business and the methods of payment at the point of sale are evolving continually. CBE is at the forefront of this innovation, developing solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of their customers. Supporting Irish companies with the ambition to scale globally is a key priority for Enterprise Ireland and we look forward to working closely with CBE to optimise their full international growth potential, creating and sustaining jobs here in the West of Ireland.”
