THE Network Ireland national business conference is shaping up to be a really impressive event with the highest calibre of speakers. Star economist David McWilliams (pictured) has this week just been confirmed as a major speaker, and chair of the afternoon discussion panel. Two weeks ago, entrepreneur Denis O’Brien was announced as keynote speaker. The Network Ireland National Conference will be held in Knockranny House Hotel, Westport on Friday 9 October. Una Murphy, National President of Network Ireland, is based in Westport and is justly proud of the line-up her committee are assembling for the conference. “We are determined to make this an event that business people really cannot afford to miss”, she said, “With David McWilliams and Denis O’Brien already confirmed and another few fascinating speakers in the wings, we are sure of a very interesting and worthwhile conference”. David McWilliams is an economist, author and journalist as well as being one of Ireland’s most widely respected broadcasters and commentators. He has written several best selling books and the latest, “The Generation Game”, was launched along with a three part documentary on RTE 1. He is a lively and interesting speaker who always produces thought provoking and challenging insights. Online booking is available through the website (www.networkireland.ie) and a special early bird price is available until the end of July. The prices for both the daytime conference and gala evening event, which will include the prestigious Business Awards, are exceptional value for money compared with similar events. The conference theme is ‘Ordinary people doing extraordinary thing’ and certainly both Denis O’Brien and David McWilliams have achieved quite extraordinary things in their business careers. Each can be considered a self-made success with fascinating career paths. Further information and booking details for the conference are available on the Network Ireland website, www.networkireland.com, or by contacting Una Murphy, President Network Ireland, on 087 7976799.
