It is with great sadness that The Mayo News wishes to announce the sudden passing of its director, Natalie Berry of Knappabeg, Westport


It is with great sadness that The Mayo News wishes to announce the sudden passing of its director, Natalie Berry of Knappabeg, Westport.
A native of Athlone, Natalie (nee Harkins) was the wife of Mayo News owner Dermot Berry, and assumed the role of director of the newspaper in early 2018. She was 51 years old and a mother of two daughters, Kate and Hayley. She is also survived by her brothers, Alan (Ballina) and Derek (Castlebar); mother-in-law, Teresa; sisters-in-law; nephews, Patrick, Derek and Humphrey; nieces Lyndsey and Keria, relatives and friends.
Natalie will be reposing in Navin’s Funeral Home, Westport, on Sunday, July 14, from 4pm to 6pm (House private on Saturday, July 13). The funeral will arrive to St Mary’s Church, Westport, at 7pm. Mass is on Monday, July 15, at 12.30pm with burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
