Five people were brought to hospital on Thursday last following a two car collision on the N17 between Knock and Kilkelly
GARDAÍ are investigating a two vehicle crash which occurred on the N17 on Thursday evening last.
The accident between a car and an SUV took place between Knock and Kilkelly near the turnoff for Kiltimagh at approximately 4.50pm.
Five people were taken to hospital following the collision. The road remained closed following the accident, and reopened on Friday afternoon following an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash and anyone with any information is asked to contact Claremorris Garda Station at 094 9371222.
