The body of a Castlebar man, originally from Poland, was recovered from the Castlebar river on Sunday morning
Man’s body recovered from Castlebar River
THE post-mortem of a Polish man who was recovered from Castlebar river on Sunday morning, took place yesterday (Monday) at Mayo General Hospital.
The body of the deceased man was taken from the river near the bridge on Lannagh Road at approximately 11am yesterday.
The maan, who had been living in the Castlebar area for a number of years, was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardaí are not treating the death as suspicious.
