Record week for young Mayo golfers

IN an historic 24 hours for Mayo golf, and particularly for junior golf in the county, Rice College, Westport and Ballinrobe Community School took home the two premier All-Ireland schools titles from Belfast last week.
Rice College were crowned Irish Senior Schools champions in Balmoral Golf Club on Tuesday last, while Ballinrobe Community School made it a double for Mayo on Wednesday, when they won the Irish Schools Junior title.
