Charlestown Sarsfields have confirmed their new managers for the 2026 Mayo Senior Club Championship campaign.
It will be a duo from a different Sarsfields who will take over the helm for the upcoming season.
Ruairi Clarke and Alan Kelly, who are both proud Ardnaree clubmen, have taken the reins in O'Hara Park.
The pair succeed club legend David 'Ginger' Tiernan in the hotseat, who managed the side in 2025.
Losses, albeit narrow ones, to Ballintubber, Ballaghaderreen, and Claremorris, saw the Sarsfields drop into the relegation play-offs last season.
The green and white eked out a narrow win over Mayo Gaels in the relegation semi-finals to stave off fears of falling through the trap-door into the Intermediate grade.
Preparations will now ramp up in Father O'Hara Park as the club prepares for the upcoming Senior Football League campaign.
