The season hung in the balance, but Ciaran Moore dashed those dreams at the death, drawing the
curtain down on a trophyless 2025.

McStay ‘relieved from his role’

On Sunday, June 25, Mayo GAA released a statement dismissing Kevin McStay from his role as Senior
Men’s coach.

The move and the nature of it sparked furore, and the Executive issued an apology for the way in which the saga was dealt with.

Mayo’s El Clasico lights up Castlebar

With both Westport United and Castlebar Celtic flying at the top of the Super League table, this meeting in Celtic Park was always going to prove seismic.

Both sides were neck and neck in injury time, before Johnny Cocozza struck at the death to keep the
Celtic flawless run going.
