As 2025 comes to a close, Mayo Camogie have reflected on a successful year 2025.
Breaffy House Hotel was the venue as the organisation celebrated the victorious U-14 and U-16 All Ireland winning teams in November.
Brian Molloy, President of the Camogie Association, was there to present our teams with their All-Ireland medals. The event marked a memorable milestone for the county, recognizing the hard work, talent and dedication that propelled these young athletes to All-Ireland glory.
The success of the U-14 and U-16 teams, both crowned All-Ireland Champions this year, reflects the depth of talent emerging within the sport and the bright future that lies ahead for Mayo Camogie.
"Our U-14 panel clinched victory in the National Blitz in August and celebrated the weekend away as they attended the All Ireland Camogie Finals day and paraded in Croke Park with fellow U-14 Intercounty Teams," Mayo Camogie commented.
The U-16 team displayed a clinical team performance to overcome Louth in the U-16 C Shield Final on Easter weekend in St Peregrines, Dublin, and arrived home to a rapturous homecoming tour in Tooreen, Westport and Castlebar.
"Mayo Camogie would like to thank Brian Molloy (President Camogie Association) and David Cunningham, Shonagh Savage (Connacht Camogie) for attending and celebrating our victories in Mayo Camogie this year.''
