This man operated well as a key cog in the Westport defensive pack. The epitome of this in the first half was when he nipped in to rob the O'Neill's in a dangerous position, and helped push things forward when his men were under the cosh of a full-court press.
Was hooked for Kevin Keane by Pat Holmes, when needed to change formation.
