The former Mayo Minor was on fire in the first half as he notched 1-5.
Damien Egan and the Kilmeena management team saw that Clarke was getting the better of Kilmeena's Luke Durkan and in the second half, Ciaran Kilcoyne picked the Moy Davitts man up.
Clarke had a disappointing second half as Paul McGarry decided to introduce Liam Byrne with ten minutes remaining.
