CROSSMOLINA DEEL ROVERS V WESTPORT
Can Kobe be stopped?
At just 17 years of age, Kobe McDonald has lit up this year’s Senior Championship, albeit in his debut season at the adult grade.
The hugely talented youngster has been catching the eye of many with his skill, pace, and sheer class as he sets out to continue his fine form.
One would assume that Westport’s Rory Brickenden may be given the role of keeping tabs on McDonald, given the inter-county defender has gone up against the very best over the years, including David Clifford.
The Crossmolina youngster could well prove to have a huge impact on this clash, but he will be met with the challenge of the boys in blue, who have shown in recent games that they are a fine physical side with plenty of heavy hitters.
