Mayo LGFA have been looking for a manager since Liam McHale stepped away.
Time is running out to apply for the Mayo Ladies manager job, with the window for applications slamming shut within the next few hours.
The role has been vacant since July 5, when former boss Liam McHale stepped down after his side secured their senior status for 2026 with a win over Leitrim in Tubbercurry.

On Friday, August 18, Mayo LGFA announced that they would be seeking applications for the role, setting a deadline of this Friday, August 1.
Speculation has been mounting on who could potentially be throwing their hat in the ring, but they’ll need to finalise their applications and have everything in order before midnight tomorrow.
One name that has expressed their intention to run for the job is Diane O’Hora. In conversation with The Mayo News, the two-time All-Star confirmed she would be applying to lead the Green and Red in 2026.
