Mayo Under-20s make two changes for clash with Sligo

The Mayo Under-20 side ahead of their Connacht Championship clash with Roscommon

Mayo U-20 manager Peadar Gardiner has made a pair of changes to his Mayo side ahead of their Connacht Under-20 Championship clash with Sligo on Wednesday evening.

Mayo were imperious in their win over Leitrim last time out, and Gardiner has largely kept the faith in that starting side.

Claremorris’s flame-haired livewire Darragh Beirne comes into the side in place of Josh Carey, while Colm Lynch, from Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin replaces Diarmuid Duffy.

The team to start against Sligo is as follows: Conor Meaney; Rio Mortimer, Paul Gilmore, Eoin McGreal; Hugh O’Loughlin, John MacMonagle(C), Colm McHale; Oliver Armstrong, Seamus Howard; Oisin Cronin, Cathal Keaveney, Colm Lynch; Darragh Beirne, Niall Hurley, Tom Lydon.

Wednesday’s Connacht Under-20 Football Championship game against Sligo throws in at 6.30 pm in Marcievicz Park, Sligo.
