MAYO U-16 manager Francis Regan has made just one change to his starting team for tomorrow's (Saturday) All-Ireland U-16 A final against Cavan.

Aoibheann McNamara starts in place of injured Westport teammate Aoife Meaney, who lined out at midfield in the All-Ireland semi-final.

McNamara comes into the half-forward line while Hollymount's Lily Hession lines out at midfield alongside Knockmore's Sarah Dempsey.

Mayo face a tough assignment against the reigning All-Ireland U-16 champions, Cavan, in Saturday's final.

Francis Regan's charges come into the game on the back of a convincing All-Ireland semi-final win over Kerry with a team that includes a number of survivors from last year's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Cavan.

Mayo - who have not appeared in an U-16 All-Ireland final since 1996 - are seeking to win their first All-Ireland title at this grade since 1976.

The game throws in at 2pm, in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe, Co Galway. Live commentary will be carried on Midwest Radio.

The Mayo team to start the All-Ireland U-16 A final is as follows: Kayla Hughes (The Neale); Cliodhna Dowling (Carnacon), Isabelle Basquille (Claremorris), Cliona Cullen (Charlestown); Amy Doherty (MacHale Rovers), Emma Higgins (Claremorris), Sophie Tiernan (Charlestown); Sarah Dempsey (Knockmore), Lily Hession (Hollymount), Aoibhinn McNamara (Westport), Lauren McHale (Belmullet), Siofra McGuinness (Charlestown); Kate Byrne (Moy Davitts), Emma Stagg (Hollymount), Katie Hughes (Westport)
