RIP: Brigid (Bridie) Lynch, Raheny, Dublin, formerly Fleming from Kilcolman, Claremorris, Mayo

The death took place recently of Brigid (Bridie) Lynch, Raheny, Dublin. She was formerly Fleming from Kilcolman, Claremorris, Mayo, and she died in the kind care of the staff at St Francis Hospice, Raheny, surrounded by her family.

She was a sister of the late John Fleming of Kilcolman and of Frank Fleming, Clontarf, who died in August of this year, and who was synonymous with all things Mayo in Dublin and who was an Honorary Life President of the Mayo Association in the city.

Bridie enjoyed her many visits home to the West down through the years, and she was also held in very high regard by her neighbours in the Raheny area.

Sympathy is tendered to the Lynch and Fleming families on the passing of this good-natured and gracious lady.

The funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny, and was followed by Cremation in Glasnevin.

Bridie, who was predeceased by husband Fintan in December 2021, granddaughter Anna and brothers John and Frank, will be sadly missed by her family, Fintan, Deirdre and Fiona, her grandchildren Aoife, Seán, Darren, and Rosa, her sister Ann, son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Saren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
