"The score line flatters us" says St Gerald's Castlebar coach after winning Connacht final

The Mayo derby between St Gerald's and Mayo rivals St Muredach's Ballina was decided too early for a dramatic finish

St Gerald's Castlebar have clinched the Connacht PPS A Championship crown in a decider against Mayo rivals St Muredach's Ballina.

Final score: St Gerald's 1-19 St Muredach's 3-7.
