Castlebar is fast feeling the effect of fuel shortages

As another day of the fuel shortage crisis starts to set in Mayo, multiple fuel stores in Castlebar are reporting that their pumps have run dry.

Following on from a day which saw queues at the forecourts as commuters purchased large quantities of petrol and diesel, the shortage is beginning to be seen nationwide, not least in this neck of the woods.

Casey's Londis, on the Lannagh Road, has also reported that they are out of fuel.
