The Chapel Street Gospel Choir will perform Spirit and Soul ’26 at the TF Royal Theatre this April.

Music lovers in Mayo are in for a treat next month as the Chapel Street Gospel Choir prepares to take to the stage with its latest production, Spirit and Soul ’26.

The highly anticipated concert will take place on Friday, April 24 at 8pm at the TF Royal Theatre, offering audiences an intimate and immersive live music experience.

Renowned for their energetic performances and rich harmonies, the Chapel Street Gospel Choir will deliver a programme of gospel, soul and contemporary choral music, blending powerful vocals with an uplifting atmosphere.

Under the musical direction of Kathy Fahey, the group has built a strong reputation as one of Ireland’s most dynamic vocal ensembles. This year’s concert will feature a mix of new arrangements alongside well-loved favourites, promising something for both returning fans and first-time attendees.

Speaking ahead of the performance, Ms Fahey said the event is about more than just music.

“We’re thrilled to bring Spirit and Soul ’26 to the stage of the TF Royal Theatre. This concert is a celebration of music, community and positivity, and we can’t wait to share it with our audience,” she said.
