According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, there are currently 683 admitted patients awaiting beds across the country

INMO trolley watch has reported a significant increase in patients awaiting a bed at Mayo University Hospital.

Today, (Monday, February 6) sees a total of 31 patients without beds, 14 in the emergency department, and a further 17 in beds elsewhere.

These figures have increased significantly over the weekend, jumping from 19 on Friday (February 6) to 31 today (Monday, February 6).

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, there are currently 683 admitted patients awaiting beds across the country.
