Former Mayo TD to work with huge sports stars like NFL star Tom Brady in new job

Former Fianna Fáil TD Lisa Chambers and ex-NFL star Tom Brady.

The former Mayo TD Lisa Chambers lost out on a Dáil seat for her party Fianna Fáil in the last general election. But she has found a new job now with global advisory group Consello now.

Chambers' new job has some exciting former sports people on their payroll or affiliated as partners.

Consello was founded by Irish businessman Declan Kelly almost three years ago and has offices in New York, Miami, Atlanta, London, Barcelona and the Middle East and has one of the most experienced leadership teams of any advisory firm in the world.

Former leader of the Seanad Chambers will join the Communications and Public Affairs team at Consello in Ireland, one of six business units in the newly established company, which was officially launched in December and has a 30-strong team working across offices in Dublin, Belfast and Clare.

The native of Ballyheane will work alongside some sport legends: Former tennis world number one, Serena Williams, and multiple Super Bowl winning American Football quarterback Tom Brady are among the company's partners.

Also Irish rugby legend Ronan O'Gara and former Manchester United soccer player Gary Neville work for Consello, the same goes for Irish golfer and Ryder cup captain Paul McGinley.
