'She had the most kind heart' - Fundraiser in memory of Mayo woman

The late Lauren Padden.

Belmullet native Lauren Padden tragically died in a car accident two years ago. Her family has started a fundraiser for a charity now.

The family writes on its page on www.idonate.ie: "As many of you may know, Lauren sadly passed away two years ago. Although the pain felt by her family will never truly fade, we hope that by organizing this fundraiser in her memory, we can keep her spirit alive while also making a positive impact on the lives of others. Lauren would do anything for anyone no matter what as she had the most kind heart."

Already last year the family organised a fundraiser, that time for Cancer Care West, raising more than €7,000. This time they chose North West Stop for another fundraiser.

This charity provides free counselling services to people of all ages who are in need of support across the north west of Ireland.

You can donate money for North West Stop on the fundraiser page here.
