A Mayo runner came home from Dublin with a well deserved silver medal.
The 'Biofreeze Irish Runner 5 Mile Race' took place on Sunday morning in Phoenix Park in Dublin.
It is one of two imperial distance road race events adapted from the Irish Runner Summer Series that have been given Athletics Ireland National Championship status.
Congratulations to Mary Browne of Mayo AC who won silver in W65 category in 37:51.
Great running by Mary who also won silver in the 2024 event. Sheelagh Jones DSD AC 36:19 was the first finisher of five runners in the F65 category.
