A Status Orange Weather Warning from Met Éireann is in effect for Mayo

TUESDAY, 4.05 PM: Further outage reported in East Mayo
A total of 34 customers will be without power in Cloonmore, located between Kiltimagh and Knock. The ESB Power Check site estimates that repairs will be completed by 7 pm.

TUESDAY, 3.56 PM: Hundreds of Mayo homes without power
Three different power outages around one of the county's biggest towns have seen 429 customers lose electricity.

TUESDAY, 2.38 PM: Mayo 'to be at epicentre' as Storm Bram peaks
Cathal Nolan, founder of Ireland's Weather Channel, suggested that a Status Red warning could potentially be on the horizon as he spoke from Belmullet.

TUESDAY, 2.12 PM: Wind tracker projects the worst of the storm to hit at 3 pm
An interactive online wind tracking map projects that Mayo's coastline will feel the brunt of Storm Bram's peak in the coming hours.

TUESDAY, 1.50 PM: Power fault in East Mayo
The ESB PowerCheck service is showing a fault in the Tawniyah region near Ireland West Airport, Knock.
The estimated restoration time for the 41 customers affected is 3 pm. Other customers in Swinford and Kilmovee have since been reconnected.

ESB's website provides a useful interactive map which customers can use to check if their area is affected by outages, as well as estimated times for power to return.

TUESDAY, 11.31 AM: Westport Estate shut to protect customers
The venue on the shores of Clew Bay will open tomorrow (Wednesday, December 10) for business as usual.
TUESDAY, 11.14 AM: Mayo College of Further Education and Training close due to safety
"In the interests of health and safety, Mayo College of Further Education & Training will be closed today, Tuesday, due to the Status Orange weather alert," a statement on the College's social media channels read. "Please exercise extreme caution for the duration of Storm Bram."

The Belmullet peninsula on the far north-western coast feels the impact of Storm Bram.

TUESDAY, 9:30 AM: School in Louisburgh closed
Sancta Maria College in Louisburgh has decided to close its doors today.
TUESDAY, 9:00 AM: A NUMBER OF FLIGHTS CANCELLED TO AND FROM KNOCK AIRPORT
Two flights, including one departure and one arrival to Ireland West Airport, have been cancelled due to Storm Bram.

MONDAY, 12.10 PM: Storm Bram upgraded to Status Orange Weather Warning
Along with a slew of coastal counties, Mayo was upgraded to an orange warning for wind by Met Éireann, with difficult travel conditions and fallen debris among potential impacts.

MONDAY, 11.00 PM: Schools close on foot of Storm Bram
With the full effects of the wind on the horizon, many schools in Mayo have decided to close their doors for the safety of students, teachers, and all other staff.
Saint Joseph's, Foxford, signalled their closure on their social media channels, as did Saint Muredach's, Ballina.
