'Mayo Women's League going from strength to strength' says chairman Michael Collins

Four new teams join the competitions amid Castlebar Celtic returning to the fold

The Mayo Women's League has held its league launch for the season starting next Friday (April 10).

Chairman of the league and Kiltimagh Knock United representative, Michael Collins, spoke to 

"When you go back to 2020, there was only four teams in total," Collins told The The Mayo News at the launch in Breaffy House Hotel.

Collins also commented on Castlebar Celtic joining back after years of absence and how the league explains Celtic skipping a league and starting in the second tier competition.
