Sinn Féin leader hits out at lack of services in the west of Ireland during party Mayo manifesto launch in Castlebar

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has said she is ‘very struck’ by the lack of public services in Mayo compared to the east Coast. 

Deputy McDonald was speaking at the launch of Sinn Féin’s Mayo manifesto, ‘Leading the Change in Mayo’, in response to a question from Mayo News reporter Anton McNulty. 

The Dublin Central TD was joined in the TF Royal Hotel and Theatre in Castlebar by the party’s Mayo general election candidates Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh and Cllr Gerry Murray.
