'Sad to hear the news' - Mayo people react to death of Pope Francis

VIDEO: Mayo people came to Knock yesterday and signed a book of condolences for the late Pope Francis

The news sent shockwaves around Mayo, Ireland and large parts of the world: Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church, passed away on Monday.

Many faithful flocked to Knock Shrine yesterday evening to pay their respects to the late supreme pontiff. A book of condolences was laid out to sign.
