The races for the Moclair and Sweeney cups are heating up at pace, with the weekend bringing more drama
The date, time, and venue for the semi-final draw in the Mayo Senior and Intermediate Club Championships have been confirmed.
With eight teams still in the mix for both the Sweeney and Moclair Cup, the tension is set to scale fresh peaks across Saturday and Sunday.
By the close of business, the pool of potential victors will be scythed in half, and only four will remain in pursuit of glory.
Now, Mayo GAA have confirmed precisely where and when the draw for the semis will occur.
Claremorris will play host to the big event, which will take place after the Senior Championship quarter-final between Claremorris and Belmullet.
That game is pencilled in for 3.30 pm on Sunday, September 20.
The semi-finals will take place on the weekend of Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. Exact dates, times, and venues will be assigned in due course.
As with the draw for the quarter-finals, the draw will not be live-streamed.
