Will Oasis play in Ireland? Gallagher brothers have fans ‘in a chokehold’ as they tease long-awaited reunion

Will Liam and Noel Gallagher finally bury the hatchet?

Oasis have fans 'in a chokehold' as they have teased their long-awaited reunion on social media.

The official band page shared a cryptic video with the date August 27, 8am.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher disbanded in 2009, and despite the tremendous amount of pleas from Oasis fans for the pair to reunite, it has still not happened.

Over the weekend, several hints on social media indicated the two may have buried the hatchet and are set to reunite for touring.

On Saturday, August 25, Liam wrote on Twitter, now X: "I never did like that word FORMER."

Hints a tour might be on the card got fans into a frenzy.

Industry insiders told the Sunday Times that Wembley Stadium is booked for 10 nights next summer. Perhaps the pair will 'Definitely Maybe' be reuniting on stage.
