Temporary road closure planned on Deradda Road near Westport
Motorists are being advised of restrictions as Mayo County Council carries out maintenance works
Mayo County Council has announced a temporary road closure on the L5849 Deradda Road, Westport, to facilitate essential road maintenance works.
The closure will be in effect on Tuesday, June 9, from 8:00am until 4:30pm.
During the works, access will be restricted to local traffic and emergency services only, with motorists advised to plan alternative routes where possible and allow additional travel time.
Road users travelling in the area are asked to exercise caution, follow any temporary traffic management measures in place, and comply with directions from road crews.
Mayo County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked residents and road users for their patience and cooperation while the works are completed.
