Westport Garda Station remains open 24/7 as repair works continue, with services operating as normal during the three-week project.

West Mayo public urged to 'exercise caution' during repair works

Essential repair works have begun at Westport Garda Station.

Essential repair works are currently taking place at Westport Garda Station, with scaffolding erected around parts of the building to facilitate the project.

Despite the ongoing works, the station remains fully operational and open to the public 24 hours a day. Garda services are continuing as normal throughout the repair period.

Members of the public visiting the station are advised to exercise caution, remain aware of the construction activity, and take care when entering and leaving the premises.

The repair works are expected to be completed within approximately three weeks. Gardaí have thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding during this time.
