First tractor run brings festive spirit to Mayo village

Drummin Community Council hosted its first-ever Tractor Run on Saturday, December 21, drawing a strong turnout.

The event featured a convoy of tractors making their way into Drummin, with participants travelling from the local and surrounding areas. Organisers expressed their gratitude to all vehicle owners who took part and helped make the inaugural run such a success.

Special thanks were extended to Alan O’Brien for providing drone footage of the event and to Alan McGuire for capturing photographs along the route. Appreciation was also given to Garda Tony McCabe for ensuring the safe passage of the tractors with a Garda escort.

Chairperson Olive Kerrigan, on behalf of Drummin Community Council, thanked everyone involved for their support and enthusiasm, noting that the event showcased the strong community spirit in the area.
