Mayo bakers can drop their bread off early in Claremorris or Westport on August 1.
A final reminder has been issued for those bakers that have spent the last few weeks perfecting their brown bread as Mayo entries for the National Brown Bread Baking Championships sponsored by Euronics in association with the NPA and ICA will be collected from the below locations on Friday, August 1, from 9am to 11am.
The two areas where bakers can drop off their brown bread are at Broderick's Castlebar Road, Westport and Keans Mount Street, Claremorris. No brown bread will be accepted after 11am.

Eight finalists will take to the brown bread stage at the National Ploughing Championships (September 16-18) with one baker being crowned champion. A €5,000 cash prize and a NEFF Slide & Hide oven worth over €2,000 is up for grabs and if your brown bread is not in it, it cannot win it!
