Works on road to popular Mayo golf course to start tomorrow

The roadworks start at the entrance to Westport Golf Club, which hosted the Claret Jug in April.

The road to one of Mayo’s most popular golf courses is set to undergo roadworks tomorrow (Monday, June 16).

The L1802 Carrowholly Road on the outskirts of Westport is due to undergo road improvement works throughout the day in order to improve the quality of the route.

Traffic restrictions will be in place, with diversions also in place for the duration of the roadworks.
