A Mayo hotel has appointed a new Director to spearhead their €85-million plans for redevelopment.
Siobhán O’Sullivan joins Westport Estate as their Director of Sales and Marketing and joins the group as they move forward with many projects, including a redevelopment of Westport House and the construction of The Grace Hotel, which is scheduled to open early next year.

Siobhán is certainly not someone lacking in experience. In 2010, the Kerry native joined the Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast and helped the venue achieve its fifth star.
A move to Kilkenny’s Mount Juliet Estate followed, where, under her stewardship, the hotel was named 2020’s AA Hotel of the Year and hosted the Irish Open in 2021 and 2022.
“It’s an exciting time to join Westport Estate as it evolves into a world-class destination,” Siobhán stated following her appointment.
“Our mission is to celebrate the estate’s heritage and natural beauty while creating engaging visitor experiences. I look forward to working with our talented team and local community to bring this to life.”
