'A lot of uncertainty on the weather models' affirms Carlow Weather man

According to Met Éireann, Saturday 10th February will see some patches of mist and fog this morning, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle for a time in north Ulster.

Scattered showers in the south at first will extend over most of the country through the rest of the day. Some of the showers will be heavy and may cause spot flooding. Winds will be mostly light to moderate and variable but a fresh northwesterly wind will develop in the southwest.

Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers.

Some periods of more persistent rain are possible in the west and north.

Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees, with a touch of frost possible in the north and west.

Carlow weatherman and meteorologist Alan O'Reilly stated that there is 'a lot of uncertainty on the weather models for what happens later next week.'
