MET Éireann has issued weather warnings for several counties ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
The national forecaster, which has issued status yellow wind warnings for Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford, says southerly winds will increase from strong to gale force and gusty on Saturday.
The latest warnings, which were issued this Thursday evening are valid from 2am on Saturday to midday on Saturday.

Met Éireann says the onshore winds coupled with high Spring tides will lead to some coastal flooding.
Members of the public are being advised to stay away from coastal areas and to exercise caution if travelling ahead of the new year.
