Mayo U-20 Manager Peadar Gardiner will be hoping to lead his side into the All Ireland U-20 Final
For the young men of Mayo and Louth, this clash is a huge one.
The winner of this will go on and face Tyrone in the U-20 All Ireland Final.
With so much on the line, this semi-final battle is sure to be full of excitement. This Mayo side are full of promise as the forward unit is one stacked with plenty potential with the likes of Niall Hurley, Darragh Beirne and Tom Lydon operating close to goal. They have conquered Connacht but can the green and red march on.
Louth are on the crest of a wave at the moment. Their Minors, U-20’s and Seniors all in provincial deciders while the U-20’s and Seniors have secured silverware, the Minors are in the Leinster decider next Monday against Offaly.

The All Ireland Semi Final between Mayo and Louth takes place in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park in Longford on Friday evening at 7pm.

What do Louth bring to the game?
The Leinster Champions have been kicking some big scores across their Provincial success.
The Wee County pulled off an unexpected victory over Dublin in the Semi Final stage while they ran out comfortable winners over a fancied Meath side as a second half scoring blitz led The Wee County to their first provincial title at the grade since 1981.
Fergal Reel’s side play football similar to Mayo, free-flowing while racking up impressive scorelines. In attack, Pearse Grimes Murphy who is part of the Louth Senior panel is a key player while Tony Mc Donnell is deadly from placed ball efforts.
Who is the referee for the clash?
Conor Dourneen will be the man in the middle. The Cavan man is just 32 years of age as is one of the youngest referees on the Inter-County circuit.
