A late point from Jack Keane was the difference between the sides as Hollymount Carramore came from three points down to win a thriller in the Connacht Centre of Excellence. The former Mayo Minor gleefully punched the sky after his effort cleared the crossbar and won the day.

The match had been a thriller from start to finish and Kiltimagh were visibly disappointed at the final whistle as Hollymount Carramore celebrated a famous victory.

Mick Regan's side were leading by 2-9 to 2-6 as time ticked away, but four late points were enough to win the day for Mark Concannon's Hollymount Carramore outfit.

Darren Coen and Matthew Morris were impressive for the winners early on and they were 2-4 to 0-4 in front as half time approached. However, Kiltimagh hit 1-2 in a three-minute blitz to get right back into it - Cian Gallagher with the goal. That was a huge boost to the men in blue and they hit the front in the second half, despite the dismissal of their forward Dylan Roache. Hollymount Carramore were also hit with a body-blow when Darren Coen had to leave the field with a leg injury.

Conor Malee struck home Kiltimagh’s second goal five minutes from time and the underdogs were 2-9 to 2-6 clear and heading for victory. However Concannon’s side didn’t throw in the towel and points from Declan Feerick, Matthew Morris and substitute JJ Connelly drew them level before Keane hit the late, late winner.
