A rumoured return date has been set for the Mayo soccer leagues.
The Super League, Premier League, League One, and League Two were all set to return to action last Sunday, February 1.
However, following the mass resignation of the Mayo Football League Management Committee in early January, Round One of the competitions was put on ice.
Thankfully for players, management, and the wider soccer community in the county, a potential start date was mooted at last night's Mayo Football League EGM.
Returning Honorary Secretary John Durkan, in conversation with the local media, has floated a potential return date for the leagues of Saturday, February 28/Sunday, March 1.
