The girls from the Midlands will be hoping that they can build on last year’s success, when they captured their maiden league title.
Molloy was central to Athlone’s 2024 success, playing all 20 games and having seven goal involvements as her side captured silverware, seeing her scooping the October Player of the Month award.
The 23-year-old dynamo has also been crucial as the reigning champions have made a lightning start in defence of their crown, netting three times so far in 2025.
The former Sligo Rovers academy star plied her trade on the local soccer scene, lining out for Castlebar Celtic and Kiltimagh Knock United at underage level, while also representing KKU at senior level.
Tickets are quickly selling out for the fixture, with the winners set to face ZNK Angram, of Croatia, in Athlone this weekend.
