Mayo football star Conor Reynolds has seen his sparkling form since breaking into the Sligo Rovers first team rewarded by landing the club’s Player of the Month award.
Reynolds, from Westport, has come on leaps and bounds since signing his first professional contract with the Bit O’Red at the tail end of 2024, and his performances at the back have led to the youngster being awarded the fan-voted accolade.

The full-back, who is still a Leaving Certificate student in Rice College, can now place the accolade on the mantlepiece alongside his Republic of Ireland Schools cap, and one senses it won’t be long before other awards follow.
Reynolds, aged 18, will be looking to build on his largely positive performances so far at Rovers, where he has made six starts so far.
Up next for Reynolds and Sligo is the visit of Bohemians to the Showgrounds on Saturday at 7.45 pm; however, Reynolds will have to contend with balancing the preparations for that with the start of his Leaving Certificate exams on June 4.
