Three Mayo rugby players boost Connacht Eagles squad against Ulster A

Mayo grown players get their chance to show their talent in first 'A' Interprovincial Championship match of the season

Three exciting Mayo rugby players will get a chance to show their talent today.

The Connacht Eagles get their 'A' Interprovincial Championships underway this afternoon.

They take on Ulster 'A' at City of Armagh Rugby Club, with a 3pm kick-off at the venue.

Ulster Rugby will be streaming the game on their Ulster Rugby Live platform, while tickets are available at the ground.

The Eagles management team have named their 25-man squad for the game, and will be captained by hooker Eoin de Buitléar.

The starting 15 features Ballina native Harry West at full-back. West only signed his first professional contract in May this year.

And prop Fiachna Barrett from Geesala, who played for Ballina on underage level, will also start the game.

Also starting is Kiltimagh native Oisín McNicholas, at second-row.
