Mayo rugby club to celebrate centenary ball

As part of the club's centenary celebrations, Westport RFC hosted a Connacht Junior match against Munster last Saturday. Connacht were beaten 8-32.

Earlier this year, the club published its centenary book.

The highlight of the Centenary year celebrations will be happening on May 10 at the Castlecourt in the Dome suite where the club is hosting a black tie gala to celebrate 100 years of Westport RFC.

This event promises to be a great fun night with all members of the club attending and some people who have had connections with the club in the past.

The president of the IRFU Declan Madden will be in attendance and he will be the key speaker on the evening.
