Kilmaine LGFA celebrated its tenth anniversary in style recently by hosting a highly successful Family Fun Day, which was attended by over 200 people.

Young and old, parents and players, coaches, administrators, fans and neighbours all came together at Kilmaine Community Grounds/ GAA pitch on for a festival of fun, food, entertainment and a small bit of competition!

As the day was a celebration of female sport and empowerment, it was fitting that two local female icons – Cora Staunton and MEP Maria Walsh – attended as special guests.
