Drivers in West Mayo will have to deal with closed roads for two days in September.
Mayo County Council have announced its decision to close select roads in Westport to facilitate the Westport Horse Fair and Heritage event.
First road affected:
South Mall & Lower Fairgreen L-6804 - In the townland of Cahernamart for a distance of 230m
Diversion route: Bridge Street, N-05, Mill Street R-330
Time affected: From Friday, September 19 from 6pm to Saturday, September 20, 6pm
The second road affected:
North Mall L-6803 - In the townlands of Cahernamart and Knockranny for a distance of 250m
Diversion route: Distillery Road R-309 - Castlebar Street R-309
Time affected: Saturday, September 20 from 7am to 6pm
