The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has alerted the Irish public to an urgent recall being carried out by online retail giant TEMU.
A safety issue has been identified with a Children's Fancy Dress Costume sold by ChuYu trade on the TEMU platform.

The risk reported to the CCPC is that of burns and fire. The costume may catch fire if worn close to an ignition source, resulting in burns.
The type/number of models is 2409 Black+purple-100. The batch number is 008. The Identification number which is accessible on the package is as follows: 9963833383
There are approximately 165 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:
Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.
Temu has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller and assisted them with the refund process.
